ODA?

I get asked quite often, "What does ODA stand for?"

This is Owen D Anderson:ODA. 

He turned 2 on Thursday.  He is the main reason I went into photography.  When I was pregnant, I would go and buy clothes and get a little teary eyed when I saw how much they grow in the first year.  I knew I didn't want to forget any of it.  I wanted to be able to go back and see "my baby" anytime.  

Now he runs.  So much, in fact, that this is the best picture of his face I got after a half an hour.  It was too cold to fight him much more.

I rarely see the baby anymore.  Only every once and a while when he's asleep.  I cherish pictures of him when he was small enough that I would sit and hold him for hours on end.  I can go back and watch him grow before my eyes.
